As of now, all precincts have reported their election results except one, although the final outcome remains uncertain as the second round of ranked choice votes must still be tabulated.
The second-choice votes will be crucial in determining the final winner. If no candidate achieves a majority in this round, the process will continue with third-ranked choices being counted until a victor is declared.
Sen. Omar Fateh initially received the endorsement from the Democratic Labor Party, which was later revoked, angering Fateh’s supporters.
